My work consists of using natural elements such as oil and intaglio prints and pairing them alongside wearable art. I am deeply inspired to nature and fashion and wish to enlighten people about our wonderful world and all the beautiful creatures in it, while expressing style and couture elements through original designs and illustrations. I am an artist, seamstress and small business woman.

AS AN ARTIST I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN DRAWN TO THE BEAUTY OF THE OCEAN AND STORYTELLING. THE WAY ORGANISMS LIVE AND THRIVE IN THE DEEP, THE WAY THE TIDES RISE AND FALL IS BEAUTIFUL AND GIVES ME THE INSPIRATION TO VISUALIZE AND TELL ADVENTUROUS TALES THROUGH DESIGN.

Wearable Art is my Passion.

Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of becoming an artist and designer. I  learned to sew at a young age, and attribute my seamstress ability from my family and perseverance to create. I love the gritty dirtiness and expressiveness mediums give the artist with charcoal, paint, ink and printmaking this is where our visions come to life for the viewers. Sewing is the same, draping yards of fabrics, pinning, and cutting them to create wearable art. Drapery is an adrenaline rush of imaginative and pure exploration!

Education and Experience

2008-2014, Bachelors of Fine Arts from IPFW with concentrations in Oil Painting, Printmaking and Wearable Art.

2017-2021, Work as an associate in the FWMOA Paradigm gallery.

Summer of 2018, taught Art Boot Camp- a personalized fun interactive and learning camp centered around the arts. These are a few areas I focused on: Painting, Drawing, Music, and Printmaking.

September 2021-April 2023, framing apprentice at Frame Art & Design.
